The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 看完后，国内的音乐剧差的不是一点，唉～还怎么进剧场！！
因为一种“我想做点什么”的朴素心情伸出的援手，在美国空域关闭的背景下发生。紧急状态下维持多元的自由国际主义童话，节奏很快，笑点很多，我看的时候却久久不能摆脱那种讽刺感，911啊911，在三十多分钟的时候，中止罢工的校车司机，带着非洲人到救世军营地，非洲人不肯下车，语言不通，校车司机看到对方捧着圣经，圣经的章节编号总是一样的，“看，腓利比书4：6”，Be anxious for nothing。“我们就是这样开始说起了同样的语言”。啊。还是随之泪目了。以及美国第一位女机长，在讲述自己成长的漫长故事之后，说我最爱的被用作炸弹，啊。我知道这只是stop the world 的小岛呼告，但我想世界本该如此。
So Canadian! 没能在多伦多看现场也要加入多伦多遗憾清单了。

无惨这个角色还是可以好好挖掘的;原来现在节奏已经比当年好多了,还是一次性看爽

整体很出色。
不愧是百老汇啊，舞台上的每个人包括最后的乐手都是魅力四射，通过舞台，我们看到了在甘德这么一个平时被人遗忘的小镇，危难时刻涌现出人性的光辉，又通过中东人，飞行员，纽约市民，失去消防员的母亲等等个体完整的反应了整个事件，轻松而严肃，幽默又不失温情
主题、演员、音乐、灯光、色调，全部完美，角色转换更是牛得没话说。这么短的时间凝聚了这么多种感情，同时没有违和感和生硬感，太强了。
挺煽情的，但不知道少了点什么总觉得不够打动人，可能是现在对于这种“对陌生人的慷慨和温情”已经充满了怀疑吧
每个个体的困境依旧，但对痛苦的共同感知造就了鲜活的、善良的、沟通着的世界。
前边半个小时是零碎着看完的，所以感受不是很强，后面的部分，感觉慢慢好了。我觉得音乐蛮棒的，灯光运用也恰当好处，在有限场地上，人物的安排、运动都挺好。让我感触的不是所宣扬的人性善，而是人生的世事无常。相遇、离开，得到、失去，一切都变了，一切好像又没有变化。“Something's over, somthing's done, something's missing, something's changed, something's rearranged, something’s strained, something's lost, something's not”，所以我特别喜欢最后一切结束后那一段众人的表演。
题材本身为音乐剧加成不少，耐听度我觉得一般般
最感动的，是艺术家们沉醉于艺术之中，投入而纯粹的样子
在听到大家唱歌的时候我没哭。只是看到大家在经历灾难之后，仍然笑着交谈的时候，我就泪流满面。
