The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 全程高能无尿点，小洪和老洪对峙，表达出内心这些年对父亲的想法以及要炸隧道救人，哭湿了我一页纸。太好哭了。
这部剧对于注意力不集中，时不时唠会嗑，看会手机的人非常友好。因为整体剧本和专场流畅性是有问题的。铁道部支持的剧跟红海行动，烈火营救一类的片子一样得到了老戏骨的加持，客串的演员整体提升了演技，主演演技也没有拉胯。配乐还行，中国技术还是无法支撑起绿幕的真实性，所以实拍和绿幕是完全不同的两种观感。主旋律节奏在可接受范围内。整部剧最大的问题就是剧本，其实可以从一个引言分出几条故事线洪翼舟的探测，女朋友的救援，工程部爆破等等交织在一起，共同并进最后再会聚在一起，但明显在叙事和转场上有割裂感。东西太多，太杂，很多人物是不丰满的，灾难片如果想多线叙事，把故事铺垫好最好还是需要接近三小时的时长，要不太多太杂的东西只会让人感觉莫名其妙。
今天看完点映，很感动，铁道兵yyds，朱一龙跳飞机很帅，老洪值得尊敬
朱一龙的演技真的没得说 但是电影有些地方经不起推敲
挺感人的也挺动容的，但就感觉在编排上差点意思，每次情绪快到一个点的时候马上就会被打回来，看的又感人又堵心
豆瓣网友都这么严格吗……除了特效水平实在有点差，其他各种意义上都算是不错的片子。
感觉编剧被题材限制了，剧情反转挺多的，如果拍成超级英雄电影的话应该不错
好题材，但剧本撑不起来、好演员，但好几段演讲式台词就给你拉垮！就有些离谱哈
一部远超预期的灾难片，中国式英雄主义价值观，抛却个别剧情点不通，整体是瑕不掩瑜的，非常惊喜，同时也为我的拢龙而自豪，强安利！！！
喜欢里面亲情的描绘，很生动。黄志忠老师的演绎太绝妙了，把一固执老头演的非常生动有趣可爱。
看过电影后印象比较深的就是主角爸爸为了能让主角登上山间平台奉献了自己的生命，展现了老兵精神。现实生活中我们的铁道兵也是这样，为了修建一条隧道，奉献了自己的大半生。但是剧中的徒手攀岩确实有点离谱。总的来说还是值得一看！

单位组织看的，其实就是一部大型企业宣传片。演员演技在线，剧情有点。。。徒手攀岩、空中跳跃抓直升机，哈哈
同一天看的特种部队：蛇眼崛起，我觉得峰爆应该教一下好莱坞怎么拍电影，美中不足是特效五毛了一些
相比于国外的地陷，进入剧情速度快多了。很多镜头也都很棒，但是感觉烂尾了，最后真的是在强行煽情，强行救活。心疼最开始摔下去的那个。
还挺感人的，除了洪妈妈相关戏份都不错，尤其喜欢丁总
挺好看的，内地能拍出这种水准的灾难片真的很👍 ，而且特别适合在影院观赏，试听效果很震撼！虽然有一点点主旋律，但是略加修改应该可以在国外院线播放吧？
题材特效还可以，节奏也还行，就是整体空间搭建有点儿乱了，尤其是景别角度一混合就开始跳
