The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 以911为背景，讲述发生紧急事件后“幸存者”的体验与故事。角色塑造的大多比较丰满，印象最深刻的是女机长的故事。整个舞美、故事情节、服化道都做的不错，能感受到每一位演员为这个音乐剧付出的努力。
太感动了。就靠几把椅子让观众面前出现了那么多不同的画面。
调度好厉害。虽然说主题立意远大于故事本身，但一个半小时我还是从头哭到尾。喜欢用圣经交流，加油站默哀，消防员妈妈和凌晨四点做德餐这几个片段！可能因为时长和故事基调，一些问题讨论得浅尝辄止。
被女主的solo吸引着看了，然后发现讲的完全是不一样的事，是关于911发生后数架飞机紧急降落在纽芬兰岛上的故事。笑话尴尬，歌曲没有记忆点，总之好无聊。
塑造了一群热情友善的小镇居民。被文化输出了。

音乐剧将可以情绪放大，人性之光在台上变得更加闪耀，于是我就每场都哭🥹
悲与喜带来的历史与2022之间的一致性，使得苦难没有意义，虚无又穿透了我。
很好的音乐剧，但这是一个音乐剧的录像带，而不是电影。
这个真的太棒了！！一人分饰多角 无缝衔接 音乐也很动人
除此之外，剧本本身对911事件给美国社会心理带来的各方面影响的刻画也是相对比较到位的。
