The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 3.5.文本和形式所追求的极简还是有些冲突，但是光影效果和背景的表现主义感受还是强烈的，虽然可以说确实当下追求的复古不甚必要，但偶尔观看起来还是有值得享受的地方。

台词诗意，影片戏剧化，并不是拍莎翁的要领。
科恩兄弟掰了之后老大个人的第一部，德国表现主义的视觉构成仍然承载着黑色电影的内核。取景之逼仄，近身肉搏的高超调度，给人近在眼前的舞台感。女巫太强大，技压群芳，过目不忘。反倒是饰演麦克白夫妇的两个老戏骨自信得过了头，与沉溺于疯狂偏执之中的角色略微不合。乔尔牛逼！

形式上做到很多了
没看过其他版本的，至少这个版本我看着质感非常不错，相当震撼。
科恩兄弟分开后就刻意去掉喜怒无常荒诞的命运巧合和暴力的黑色幽默了，唯一喜欢的就是古早味的美术摄影了。
影像风格拉满，舞台感极强，棚摄感很强，建筑颇有表现主义和极简风的糅合。可以看出很努力想打造一个全新的视觉效果来当新酒瓶，来装这个故事。但故事性确实很弱，麦克白的改变不流畅，有一种被导演控制的感觉，但依旧因为摄影想打高分。
布景和转场非常棒抢眼 女巫的表演起鸡皮疙瘩。
太一般了，一直在用全景卖弄陈旧的黑白建筑摄影美学和用特写夸示演技之间疲劳地切换，选角亦不出彩，有黑泽明、威尔斯和贝拉·塔尔等版本在先，科恩出一部这样的新版实无必要
