The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 除了原著的光芒加持以外，可以说是毫无亮点，包括电影的外在创作和内在表达，议点、议 题相当陈旧，但所展现的导向、环境，也多少有一点现实意义，可这是巴尔扎克的功劳。

根据巴尔扎克同名小说《幻灭》里的吕西安那一条线改编，文学性强，观赏性也不差。真是“美梦易醒、韶华易逝、镜花水月”般的幻灭。看完联想到了为了梦想在大城市漂泊的那些人，像吕西安般结局的人是不是大多数？
改编得很棒，唯一的不足是旁白太多，打扰我对剧情的主动思考了…

原著为电影加分不少，资本主义的道理几百年颠扑不破，底层人向上，在没有资本的情况下必须要站稳自己的立场。男主的演技略显呆滞，撑不起来整个片子…
好的故事，今时今日依然如是，可见其经典，人类进步真缓慢。男女主的表演差了些，其它完成中规中矩。
名声决定一切的时代可不就得各种装嘛，可惜最终也没靠女人上位。
一部古典而强有力的影视作品，它在保证了影视化改编的观赏性的同时也没有完全失去作为一部文学巨著的顽强的生命力，很有欧洲古典主义的气质

220721 住院期间第一部电影。没有看过原著，拍出来的剧情比《红与黑》要吸引人。惊讶于当时贵族的阅读量，原来人真的可以看这么多份报纸。。。。
