The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 赞透了！这部歌唱传记片把一个鲜活的奋斗人生如实呈现，主角原创歌曲贯穿主线，歌词配合现实更引起共鸣。全片最贴切写实的是那种面临三十岁到来的彷徨迷惘和即将交稿但有毫无灵感的苦闷，以及又与情侣的烦心事交织一起的复杂情感。最可贵是没有特意的煽情片段，虽然后半段对童年玩伴的回忆时刻是泪光时刻，但却顺理成章。最后主角的结局一句话带过，非常精炼没有废章。
其实整部电影都在讲，为什么是他，也只能是他写出Rent。
无限列车前奏，也就是TV合集，没有新的东西，早知如此就不去看了。三颗星给最后团灭的下弦，这剧最好的就是视效上的空间大挪移了。

剧作就很弱了，堆砌大量人物关系，叙事逻辑和节奏都相当的混乱。
也就是算上总编集 我看过三遍TV版了……咳
没有大战。但搞笑的桥段基本都集中在这一部。
剧场版观影顺序：
与lalaland遥相呼应；导演对“舞台”的掌控力一流；加菲 is soooo underrated（心目中最佳还是Angels in American，神级本子和制作，加菲也奉献了无与伦比的表演！）
有点难代入，Jon本身的经历比较令人唏嘘。
是我的错觉么，这不就是TV版播过的内容么？？？
