The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 幼稚的画风和特别理智的情绪：不刻意敌视高材生，不盲目宣扬普通人。看到最后突然很喜欢正男。
近年来最好的蜡笔小新剧场版了，最后一段青春无敌的奔跑让我想起了看大人帝国剧场版的感觉。一部有着反对过度精英主义的中心主题内核，歌颂青春的剧场版，以侦探推理＋日式青春的形式呈现。对孩子来说，和伙伴们在一起，也许没有无意义的事情，很多鸡娃父母，把自己对于万事万物赋予意义的焦虑辐射强加在孩子身上，其实可以看看蜡笔小新剧场版。其实春日部学院倒很像社会缩影，有中坚的所谓精英，有被体系抛弃的落水者，有离群索居的游侠（露露），有反叛者，有迷信精英体系的统治者。
