The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? The script is a dud (again), characters are underwritten, some gestures don’t seem to have any purpose, there is conflict between what shows and what means. Camera work is the only bright spot, but you can also argue that he sacrificed the content for the form.
【B】爽飞了，纯粹的爽片。这样愚蠢的文本还有什么纠结与挖掘的意义，只需要时刻注意字面意义的好看。惊讶的是拍这样到电影还是能辨认出是埃德加莱特到作品，已然如此居然还没被反噬。
最后让黑人女（亦或男？）穿上安雅的衣服，简直印证了时代的后退。
这是一部外表华丽(迷幻)，内容却十分陈词滥调的作品
技法纯熟，杂糅拼贴，没有以前那么反结构。前半段还在质疑埃德加·赖特也开始蹭女性，慢慢发现点不一样，看似不共戴天的性别对立，背后其实是权力对普通人的异化，恐怖的永远是绝对权力。观点不见得多高明，只是能在这些年这股正确浪潮中保持清醒，就眼前一亮了。唯一不喜欢的是结尾处理得太俗气。
第一幕拍的最好，镜像的使用加上霓虹灯和夜伦敦，给我一种《午夜巴黎》既视感。第二幕逐渐疯狂，视角产生疲劳，女主不疯我都要疯了。第三幕强行happy ending，老警察死的荒谬，女主家族通灵能力反而表现得过于隐晦。
3.8/已经是非常高的水准了 虽然也有缺点 但是看完足以让人惊叹 尤其是镜像和分身的段太美了 完全被带入60年代的气氛中 最后无脸lsp们的求救变相成为了一场新的谋杀 很多概念叹为观止
埃德加赖特大概很喜欢台阶擂台 歪小子最后的boss对决也是这样
视听配乐构图绝佳，就是节奏太快了，慢一点气氛会更强烈些。安雅太美了，眼睛完全离不开她～
感觉埃德加赖特的才情消耗的差不多了，果然不能只在电影中寻访电影的想象
有趣的是不同时代的互动如同阴风阵阵般的华丽视听

开头很美好，过程很香艳，中途很悬疑，结尾很泄气。
-，真的是不太能指望男导演能拍好女性困局，女人最大的噩梦和女性互助就是这样么？如果说麦肯齐最后被“打脸”还算写得有新意的话，安泰乔这个角色也过于陈旧了。母女线也是完全没写好，就开头结尾硬呼应。
如果当初不搬出去住，可能...就碰不到鬼了
