The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 构图和调色都很棒，戳爷也太好看了，多多演电影吧！
首先LeoFiat的nc戏比正片强太多太多了，
深受极简主义影响的美学风格在当下众多电影中显得特别，可惜这是九十多年前《圣女贞德受难记》玩剩下的。前有黑泽明《蜘蛛巢城》的绝佳本土化改编倒衬得这版从剧情到台词有些照本宣科了。贴吧一度传这是科恩嫂奥斯卡四封之作，如今看来嫂子表演没问题却也只是整部片的点缀，也没有亮眼的moment……今年四封怕是梅戏。
剧本在多次翻拍后已然没有过多新意，只能靠风格化的摄影与表演去突破，然而破不开原作的壁垒无疑又让当下的观众感到沉闷且繁缛。
不完美的就是弟弟那对还没有相遇，一直错过，希望有第二季
用现实生活中的建筑材料来模仿舞台上的效果，有点像《歧路旅人》这种用精美的3d画面模仿2d的游戏。看了一半开了中文字幕，因为真的听不懂。

戳爷很适合这种清醒的小甜剧，虽然题材很严肃，但拍出了夏天暑假的感觉。
