The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 唔……《女巫復仇記》，又名《獵魔人之供應鏈崩潰》。非常血腥，比較神經病。下半部比上半部好。
作为动画来说，动作戏可算是一流，衔接流畅连贯，技能耀眼夺目；文戏同样出彩，类似剧版的手法穿插过去和现在的时间线，深入挖掘维瑟米尔成为猎魔人的心路历程。摆脱了斩妖除魔的固定形象，猎魔人塑造成为了生存不择手段的反面教材，正邪之理不停逆转，可惜的是除去维瑟米尔，猎魔人和女巫方的内涵没有更进一步地阐述，不过依旧瑕不掩瑜。
看的英语版，配音带着伦敦腔，有些尴尬；剧情没有那么多的冲突，主要没玩过游戏，所以共鸣不多。

搞笑加血腥。末了还讽刺一下好莱坞的政治正确
战斗特效比较棒，每个种族的设定也比较新奇有趣。骑士女巫精灵猎魔人，牵扯到了很多种族的恩怨情仇，但是交代的比较仓促，很多都是蜻蜓点水，比如最终才交代了女巫为什么如此痛恨猎魔人，小狐和精灵的剧情线背景也比较模糊。当然因为是电影篇幅较短的缘故，整部动画片的可看性还是比较强的。

维瑟米尔战力简直崩坏，十个艾瑞汀可能都不够他打。猎魔人只会简单法术而不是近战法师，导演编剧都是门外汉。
