The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 整个片子特别像网剧里三集合成一集的感觉，然后独立成一个小故事。
感觉这剧还可以，节奏不拖沓，剧情虽然有点俗套，倒也不至于让人生厌，动作戏也比较良心，没有那么多花招，个人英雄主义难免有一些。
在近几年谢苗出演的各类型网大中，这一部算是为数不多的中等佳作，按照网络电影的标准范畴，影片可以给出80分。
一颗星低了，两颗又高了的程度。
网大的动作戏拍成这样确实挺意外的，但是非得来点不切实际的吗，你让谁下岗呢，小老百姓。
