The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 浪费时间，挺好的题材拍成这样，有好多机会爆头，结果非得不好打的时候来一枪，那个美女跟狙击手有仇啊！全程都在墨迹，除了开头那几枪。。。

“正义的劫持” 这类上升到国家 自由 脚铐的内容 值得加星 一个半小时节奏很紧凑的看完了

没想到真实发生过？不平等和平等都难处理……
改编并不出彩，剧本对于事件现场和南非社会两个尺度下种族冲突的平行刻画都很肤浅，但看得出导演和编剧在质感和节奏上，有意努力模仿同经典的题材/同类型电影，这方面《血腥星期天》是标杆。作为一部中低成本时代背景电影，视觉还是很良心的，尤其是服化道。值得一提的是，前南非军队特战军人创设的G73 Tactical Advisors战术/安保机构为该片提供了警务指挥与战术顾问、演员枪械训练、警察特技群演、警用服装/装具、警用载具（包括直升机）。
