The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 十分有趣的美国人看世界的纪录片，2021真是既糟糕又混乱，充斥着越来越多的对立和消极情绪，不过我觉得这并不妨碍人类走入更加糟糕的2022。

包括社群媒体，贫富分化，疫苗话题，暴力及歧视，科技异化等诸多议题的反讽演绎，基于魔幻的现实世界。
