The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 3.0 攝影很美，但故事說得太慢了，且慢的沒什麼道理。自進了綠教堂之後開始走馬燈式的人生前瞻這段拍得還挺好。

这样一部绝对的形式主义电影以其晦涩的台词、发展缓慢的剧情以及众多镜头所带来的隐喻而很难受大部分观众喜爱，但电影中诸多极其壮美的镜头、具有宗教仪式感的布景、带有宿命感的长镜头和表达时间流逝的伪全景转场都值得细细品味
故事讲的鸡零狗碎，而且处处卖弄高深，故弄玄虚的剧本，还总顾左右而言他，个人一直不太欣赏得了A24这个厂牌，架子常年端的高，内里的含金量也是一窥见底，琐碎又冗余，慢热且枯燥，既失去了流畅性，也没有了故事性，摄影倒是一景观，但我太不喜欢这种厂牌命题作文型的统考感，只有框架，没有拓展。★★

结构有趣，像是把关于民族的历史在几个故事间不停反射
我这种文化沙漠干嘛要看这部电影啊！完全就是被预告片巨人给吸引罢了！
把一个古典故事自做聪明的改成小学教辅读物，直追央视青少年文教动画片二十年前的水平。

整体故事框架很简单，一种裹挟的骑士精神以及终究自我觉醒的认知。朦胧的画面，梦幻的氛围，穿梭于草原丛林，有种古典童话的既视感。加上缓和画面，慢节奏，是奇幻文艺片的定位。
导演运用了很多视觉上的小心思去诠释这样一个叙事诗的题材，和鬼魅浮生一样，整体调性过于装腔作势，使得虚伪骑士毁灭过程流于表面。
措不及防的主旋律电影，还升华到有色人种问题～

和狗狗说再见那里让我想起了很多次无力痛苦的分别，结尾漫画很温馨很幸福。。。
