The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 没什么重点 属于那种边看边回想往事的电影 虽然没有什么启发但是有一个放空自己的时间也挺好的
主要是那年代的美国南部休斯顿的生活比较有意思。

上世纪60年代末美国社会即景，平淡顺滑的叙事很像在看回忆录，但这片子恐怕非得那一代成长起来的美国人才共情得了，外国观众还是看个热闹算了。

还以为有过boyhood了林克莱特就没必要拍这种片了。

极为私人化的一部作品，Richard Linklater大写的儿童年鉴，以及回阅时的童心未泯。想来，美国流行文化及生活方式的全球化输出，经由长年累月的影视传播，即便是怀旧的六十年代，同样能令非美观众共生相思之情，还真不得不服。 * 自动关联到2020年法国那部《加加林》。
好喜欢这个画风。感觉看到了自己的小时候/爸妈的小时候，在互联网时代之前，时间过的好慢。我也好想去月球呀，这个想象好浪漫。
