Arkham, 1975: Jonathan Davis' father has disappeared. His tracks lead to Germany, to the Swabian-Franconian Forest where he was stationed after the Second World War. brutashell review - 'Filmed in black and white and primarily spoken in German, it is obvious that Die Farbe did not have a huge budget to work with. Effects are minimal and the cast is utterly unknown. I should point out that these are all good things, and work very much in the film's favour. There is no CGI to rely on, no name actors to carry it. Rather, the filmmakers do the unthinkable: they create a genuine atmosphere of unimaginable dread and unspeakable horror, using shadow, suggestion and rare splashes of that Nameless colour in a few select frames. In short, they did a damn good job. Die Farbe is subtle in its mounting horror, nurturing a dark dread deep in your bowels with every shot. All of the best and most stomach-turningly distressing films I’ve ever seen have come out of Germany: M, The Cabinet Of Dr. Caligari, The White Ribbon, and now this one. Leave it to the Germans. We know how to gross you out on the deepest psychological levels.
Lovecraft worshippers and devotees of German Expressionism alike, take heed: seek out and view this film at your earliest possible convenience. It’s a dark, noisome little gem that will squirm into your subconscious and lay its eggs in your sanity. Hey, not everyone gets the honour of being a host organism for the Elder Gods, you know.'
第三个故事实验对象最为生猛，第二个丧尸惊魂夜气氛还行，就是太老套了，第四个恐怖分子大战吸血鬼感觉刚有点上头就结束了，第一个老鼠人。。。

还是可以的，看改造人的那一段的时候正在吃一个烧得比较烂的锔饭，差点吃不下去
6分。质量不行，几个小故事基本都是猎奇向而不是恐怖向，没什么看点。可能也就印尼疯狂医生那段还不错，各种人和机械的混合设计有点味道。

血腥重口狂欢，连插播的广告都cult味十足，硫酸巨鼠，碎尸还魂，科学怪人，怪物猎人，邪教挖眼，每个故事都很有趣，尤其第三个故事改造的造型想象力爆棚，活跳尸的感觉
为了续集而续集，几个故事之前更没有前几部的贯穿性，越往后越无聊，倦了，累了。

本以为是部烂片，没想到意外得好看，尤其在今年一堆沉闷又故弄玄虚的惊悚恐怖片中，这部电影让我找到了看恐怖片最初的快乐。几个故事有好有劣，【改造人】最佳，机械义肢改造带来的赛博朋克感，变态医生带来的“弗兰肯斯坦”式的古典惊悚感，以及VR视角带来的爽感交杂在一起，以及对于正常人与恶魔边界的探讨，都拉高了整部电影的格调。【守灵】的恐怖氛围营造得极好，只是故事有些没头没尾。【老鼠人】地下空间带来的神秘感与惊悚氛围，与邪教的内核结合得也很不错。【吸血鬼】的宗教讽刺性强，念着耶稣却制造着魔鬼，还不干人事儿，但是相比其他章节，叙事节奏要拉胯很多。最后一个【致命录像带】的故事最无聊，可以删除。
除了印尼机械义肢变态改造博士的那个故事略显违和和游戏感外。各个故事都是传统的B级血浆片风格。特效也很给力。
2021年，能看到这样的片子，感激涕零！恐怖片看多了，几无恐惧感，唯爆浆、暴戾和屠戮能永远令人血脉喷张，它做到了而且很完美！
开局两个故事，极度业余。
有些许江郎才尽的势头，稍显失望，大招全放前面了，后面越来越不行，应该反过来，这样观感能好很多，这种很有年代的影像质感倒是增添了很多粗砺的恐怖感，以及印尼的故事依旧不错。
短评有一位说到了点子上，伪纪录的精华在于恐怖点的“藏”，不仅是拍摄者的让观众身临其境的“藏”，也在于对未知事物的直白特写的“藏”。而这部作品明显只做到了观感的酣畅淋漓。
可拉倒吧。不知道为什么没了之前系列的味。扑面而来都是寓言故事、
依旧是这种凌乱的感觉，但是改造人那部分还是有点东西的，最后一个有点没懂。。
很邪性，对，就是那种精神疯癫边缘的劲劲儿很正，很难得！只是录像带看完会死人这种设定可以改改了。
