作为演员肉身的东木，作为活跃银幕半个世纪的角色形象之总和的东木，和作为本片导演和主演的东木，如此之多的印记挤压在了同一具苍老的身躯之中，观众无法从过往的观影经验中完全剔除所有关于他的印象，他当然也不能。在这种情况下，“迟缓”和“愚钝”似乎是一种状态的必须，似乎只有通过这样才能触碰到某些真实的东西，但我说不清楚那是什么。
